There were a lot of Chief fans in Kansas City, Missouri that were quite upset after a recent concert in their city. Fans left the Arrowhead Stadium parking lot completely trashed after a concert put on by Kenny Chesney. Among all of the trash were coolers, beer cans, and clothing.
Fans React to the Trash
Many of the executives from the football team said that football fans typically leave the same amount of trash in the parking lot after a Chiefs game. However, many Chief fans weren’t buying it. They reacted with a lot of anger after seeing the pictures that were posted. Many took to social media to share their thoughts.
One fan wrote that they found the trash super disrespectful, while another wrote that Kenny Chesney fans should all be ashamed of themselves. Many Twitter users believe that Kenny Chesney himself needs to step up and tell fans that they shouldn’t be slobs.
No Plans for Added Security
This wasn’t the first time that trash problems have been reported from a Kenny Chesney concert. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania reported their own problem concerning an excessive amount of trash after a Chesney concert in 2016. There were also reports of unruly fans from the same concert. In 2018, Pittsburgh police increased how many officers were present at the next Chesney concert. The number of fans who were arrested, as well as the amount of trash, decreased.
However, this will not be the case in Kansas City. Executives at the stadium released a statement saying that they will not add more security because they do not believe the amount of trash was more than normal.
