Now, reporting litter is even easier in Arizona.
The Arizona Department of Transportation’s has created an online reporting app that makes it easier to for the public to report drivers who litter on state highways.
If you happen to be in Arizona and see someone littering, you can go to https://litter.az.gov/ and report them, right from the app. It’s an online tool that allows anyone to report. All they need to do it enter the license plate number of the litterer, when and where it happened, and what type of litter they saw discarded.
After ADOT gets this information, they’ll send a letter to the owner of the vehicle and potentially a $500 fine.
I wonder if we’ll get such a tool here in MA? That would be nice.
